The Trust since its inception has supported relief work and provided aid during natural calamities and disasters. The Trust supports flood relief work by providing and distributing dry food, medicines and clothes to thousands of flood & famine affected people. Major relief work undertaken by the Trust include
1966 & 1967 – Setting up of Relief camps in drought affected areas in Orissa and Bihar. During the period about 15,000-50,000 people were fed daily and provided clothing and medical aid. |
1968 – Flood relief works in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh by provisioning food, clothing and medicines to the affected people. |
1968 – Earth quake relief works in Koyna, Maharashtra (food, clothes and medicines provided to affected people). |
1969 – Famine Relief works in Rajasthan. |
1970 – Relief material comprising of Blankets, Food grains, Dhoties, Sarees, Books and Medicines to people suffering from earthquake in Kutch, Gujarat . |
1972 – Relief material was distributed in the flood affected areas of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
2008 – Dry food, medicines and clothes were distributed to thousands of flood affected people in Bihar. |
